The Open Awards qualifications in Conservation are broad-based qualifications appropriate for all learners aged 14+ who have a keen interest in conservation activities such as managing our landscapes, habitats, species and access to our countryside. They will be of particular interest to those who may previously have been disengaged from learning or who may have learning difficulties or disabilities. Rules of Combination Open Awards Level 1 Award in Conservation (RQF) Credit Value of the Qualification: 11 credits Minimum Credits to be achieved at or above the Level of the Qualification: 6 credits Mandatory Unit Group A: 2 credits to be achieved Optional Unit Group B: Minimum of 6 credits to be achieved Optional Unit Group B and/or Optional Unit Group C: Minimum of 3 credits to be achieved
