I am particularly proud of the fact that Open Awards is committed to inclusivity, ensuring that education is accessible to all.

I am proud to have the opportunity to promote inclusivity and ensure that education is accessible to diverse communities.

Raising aspirations and enabling progression is so important for individuals and wider society and learning is central to this.

As someone who followed his own non-traditional route through education, I know how important access to education is.

Qualifications are the currency for widening access and social mobility  – playing a small role in this is the reason I get out of bed!

Every person deserves to make the most of their lives and this starts with ensuring that people gain access to education.

I am proud to be a trustee at Open Awards as we support the most disadvantaged in our community to achieve their potential.

I am proud to collaborate with colleagues to further enhance the management of Access to HE across the sector.

Knowing that I’ve had a part to play in enabling so many students to access higher education is a real delight for me.
