Implementing a pre-Access programme at Level 2 can help improve the performance of Level 3 Access to HE Diploma courses by:
- Giving learners an opportunity to develop their confidence and establish themselves at Level 2 before progressing to Level 3
- Allowing subject-specific content to run alongside Maths and/or English GCSE preparation for learners that need to secure passes before progressing in their studies
- Enabling learners to build their confidence in academic work before progressing onto graded Access to HE Diploma work
